David Giorgadze is a Georgian post-war and contemporary artist who was born in 1967. David Giorgadze's work is impressionistic and full of experience and movement. The works are best viewed from a distance. It is striking that the work then reveals many details. The compositions are rich in color and form. Not infrequently, the viewers feel part of the composition, whereby color perception, light and movement in the work are experienced beautifully.
His themes are dance (tango), classical music, portraits and Biblical scenes. The Gemeentemuseum was also very enthusiastic about this artist at the time
