We are proud to have Jaap Hartman, real Woerkummer as he is, in our collection. One of the better-known realistic sculptors in our country. His work is very appealing because of its recognizability and subtlety. Humor is also often found in Hartman's works, who have meanwhile reached South Korea. The 'blobs', roughly set up in wax or clay, which form the whole, appear to represent an unprecedentedly detailed representation as the end result.

Jaap often sits down in the gallery to discuss art in general or about a particular artist. The cows and calves are also doing well. As befits Brabant, this is usually accompanied by a nice piece of cake and something to wash it down with.
