Her paintings stand out because of the clear, resolute use of color and the apparently shapeless surfaces. Powerful lines mark figurative elements, such as a table, flowers, human figures or the suggestion thereof. They are almost never complete and they are rarely where we expect them to be. Perspective and reality are at odds with each other. The contrast between abstract and figurative is irrelevant, it is not her intention to make a concrete representation. Her paintings are about space. Own inner space, space that you take by thinking for another, space that others take from you by imposing their expectations. I seek the liberating, I want to bring joy and gladness. Make the world a little more beautiful.
