Contemporary art gallery, mainly of Georgian artists. The gallery started in 2003 in Numansdorp.
The works are shown in the gallery in Numansdorp and in the gallery van Cappellen, Dorpsstraat 164 in Capelle a/d IJssel (on working days from 9.00 - 17.00). In addition, there are also regular exhibitions at our temporary location at Korte Vijverberg 2 in The Hague.
Since 2007, the collection has been regularly presented at art fairs in the Netherlands and Belgium, including: Kunst- en Antiekweekend Naarden, First Art Fair, Art & Antique fair in Hasselt and Art Laren. Hopefully it will be possible again to participate in art fairs from the summer of 2021.
We are also present at art events such as the Kunst 10-daagse in Bergen (NH) and Kunst in Ootmarsum. The video was shot in the Petrus en Pauluskerk in Bergen in 2019.
At this virtual fair, some works by artists born in Georgia have been placed: Merab Gagiladze, Alexey Kvararatskheliya, Nugzar Kakhiani, David Mefreske, David Giorgadze, Zura Kalanda, David Popiashvili, Giorgi Kukhalashvili and Zaal Megvinetukhutsesi.
In addition, we also present works by the Dutch artists Nicole Schaap (mixed media) and Marga Boogaard (ceramics).
Since 2019, works by the Siberian artist Sergey Merenkow have also been included in the collection.
Of course there are more works by these artists available; send a message for more information about the presented works or if you would like to see other works by a particular artist. Most of the works are also framed, information about the frames can also be shared. It is also possible to see works live, either in the gallery or at your home, depending on the COVID19 measures.
