Maeve works as a visual storyteller and illustrator. She combines photography, modeling and digital techniques in all her visual stories. Her inspiration comes from an infinite number of different directions: Nature, eccentric animals, David Bowie, Film Noir, Alexander McQueen, Stravinsky, Rembrandt, Picasso, super heroes, fairy tales, Dutch landscapes, bric a brac shops, Patti Smith, George Orwell, Shakespeare , Titian, Funkadelic, Hellen Mirren and Jennifer Lawrence among others. She is fascinated by narrative structures and how different types of characters are represented in these structures.
